Walk through a
1930s
Village at Beckonscot
Walk as a giant through a delightful and
beautifully maintained model village of the 1930s and originally
created in the 1930s. Our Queen, when Princess Elizabeth visited
when a young girl soon after it opened.
Model steam trains (well, electric steam
trains!), a coal mine, lake, airport, plus a wealth of other
intricately detailed model churches, a windmill, pubs, shops
and houses, even a fox hunt and scout camp, all with an added
touch of humour too that the parents will appreciate too.
Thoroughly recommended for 3-12 year olds,
and parents! Good value for money. Café and play area.
My 5 year old has visited several times and still wants to go
again.
