Wanted: Percy Code recordings

We are looking for any recordings made by Percy Code.

In the early part of this century he played cornet, with Besses o' th' Barn Band and there were some recordings featuring him during his time in London.

In the 1920's he played trumpet under Alfred Herz with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.

We are also looking for recordings of compositions by Percy Code. These include:

Cornet Solos - Zanette, Zelda, Prelude de Concert, Miranda, At Dawn, At Sunset,

Sendouree, Lucille, Valse Caprice, ' Neath Austral Skies, or band arrangements of these pieces.

(Trombone solo) - The Emperor.

Marches - City of Ballarat, The Digger, The Southern Cross, Duntroon, On Manly Shore, Peace with Victory, Quick March (71st Infantry).

Hymns - Divinity, or arrangements of hymns by Percy Code.

Of further interest is a recording of the Ignaz Friedman Piano Quintet. A recording was made by Gunnar Johansen.

We also wish to obtain sheet music of compositions by Ignaz Friedman.
